Q: What is the money being used for?
A: To pay for classroom supplies and needs.
Q: Are there restrictions or limitations
on the membership?
A: This is a full one year Guardian Membership, with no
restrictions.
Q: Do I have to renew?
A: No. There is no automatic renewal, nor are you required to renew
(obviously it is highly recommended).
If you chose to renew, an addition donation will be made to this
fund raiser.
Q: Can I give the membership to someone
else if I do not have a pet?
A: Definitely, it is fully transferable.
Q: How much does the school actually
receive?
A: The school receives $8.00 for every membership, and $4.00 for
every additional pet, enrolled through
this fundraiser, either on this web site or from the school
directly.
There are no fees or upfront costs to the school.
In addition. all incentives for the children are paid for by the American Pet Association.
Q: Is this another product that has had
it's price increased for the fundraiser?
A: No! The Guardian is offered at the standard price which has been
unchanged for years.
The APA offers this fundraiser to help schools and promote responsible pet ownership, not to make profits.
The amount donated to the school is our entire estimated net profit from the membership sale (cost of servicing our memberships can vary year to year).
